The production facilities of the "Maria" factory currently occupy approximately 100,000 square meters. The enterprise manufactures over 4,000 furniture sets per month, with its products being distributed to 130 cities across Russia.
As part of the investment project, half of the planned procurement has been completed. The full implementation of all plans will contribute 190 million rubles in taxes to the regional budget and enable an increase in the average salary of employees. As of the end of 2022, the average salary has already exceeded 65,000 rubles. Founder and CEO of "Maria" company, Yefim Katz, shared these results with the Minister of Industry.
- Despite all the challenges we faced in 2022, we were able to maintain our production volume and revenue almost at the same level as in 2021. We would like to express our gratitude to the government of the Saratov region for the assistance provided. Over the past two years, we have received subsidies totaling 9 million rubles for the development of production, as well as loans with preferential interest rates amounting to 1 billion rubles. In 2023, we are also counting on comprehensive support from the regional authorities in the implementation of our investment projects, - he explained.
Minister Mikhail Torgashin noted that new prospects are opening up for the Russian furniture industry now, as many foreign companies have exited the market.
- Our furniture industry enterprises produce products that are not inferior in quality and design to imported counterparts. The industry is gradually overcoming the restraining factor of sanctions, and the Saratov factory "Maria" is a bright example of this. The enterprise is not only implementing an extensive production development program but also increasing the wages of employees, which is one of the most important social tasks, - emphasized the head of the ministry.
